Structure

VoCS is organized in seven workpackages (WPs) centred on three research WPs:

WP2 Natural Voice Processing focuses on understanding how natural voice information is decoded by humans, mammalian animals, and by machine based technology.

WP3 Synthetic Voice Design focuses on advancing our understanding of synthetic voice perception and optimizing voice synthesis technology.

WP4 Voice applications focuses on user-oriented applications of voice technology in two emerging, critical domains of voice analysis, Forensics and Health.

Research WPs 2-4 are supported by four transversal WPs.

WP1 Recruitment, Training & Mobility will ensure that the DCs receive cross-sectoral and transferable-skill trainings through a combination of individual and network-wide actions to advance their research. The training programme has been carefully designed to offer significant exposure to industrial sectors and to ensure interactions between fundamental and applied science. Academic and non-academic partners will contribute to individual and collective activities and provide institutionspecific training in scientific, entrepreneurial, and support skills.

WP5 Data Management & Ethics focuses on the proper use of all (personal) data collected or created within VoCs consortium including compliancy with GDPR and the highest ethical standards.

WP6 concerns Outreach Activities and Dissemination of the research objective and results through specific actions towards patients and politicians, media, schools and through data sharing.

WP7 will ensure efficient project management.
